We focus on implementing waste diversion and reduction strategies, carbon footprint analysis, and educating the community about environmental stewardship.

We will collaborate with your staff with the goal of taking a load of work off your plate in the planning process and day-of event execution. Typically, the months and weeks leading up to the event will be spent meeting with your team, creating necessary program materials, approving service ware, performing staff & volunteer training, making recommendations for infrastructure needs, and communicating with waste haulers.

Day of your event, you can expect WasteNaut to arrive early to aid with waste station setups, checking-in with volunteers and staff on waste sorting practices, becoming the point-person for waste management needs or issues, evaluating, and addressing the contamination levels of waste streams, and working hand-in-hand with the facilities team. Even though the event ends, that does not mean the work is over. We will make sure that the waste has been hauled away, receiving key metrics that will then be put into an impact report for your organization with observations and recommendations for future work.

WasteNaut Consulting is the accountability to your sustainability. We collect A LOT of metrics that help us evaluate the environmental impact of your event.

We are NOT a waste hauler. We can help to coordinate waste hauling for your event and ensure the waste streams are contamination-free, but we will not haul your trash/recycling/compost from your event.

Yes, you can rent bins for trash, reycling and/or compost for your event if we are working with you as your sustainability consultant. We will create and provide signage on request.
